Cabin LeaderFor ages 18+
Cabin Leaders are at the heart of GLBC's ministry. This is a spiritual leadership role where you are the leader of a cabin of campers. Duties include supervising campers, leading daily devotions, bible lessons, and camp activities, and making sure campers have a great week! Cabin Leaders will work with an Assistant Cabin Leader each week and are also responsible for mentoring and encouraging them in their walk with Christ. |
Assistant Cabin LeaderFor ages 15-17
Assistant Cabin Leaders work alongside an experienced Cabin Leader to provide spiritual leadership, direction, and supervision to a group of campers. Duties include supervising campers, assisting with leading daily devotions, bible lessons, and camp activities, and making sure campers have a great week! Assistant Cabin leaders will be mentored and encouraged in their faith as they focus on learning how to lead and disciple campers. |
Lifeguard & Head LifeguardFor ages 16+ (Head Lifeguard 18+)
Do you love water and being out in the sunshine? Join us as a lifeguard this summer! Duties include supervising all beachfront activities, keeping the beachfront clean and orderly, and assisting with first aid. The Head Lifeguard will supervise all lifeguards on staff. Applicants must have a current lifeguard certification or be able to aquire one before summer. |
Media Coordinator
For ages 15+
The Media Coordinator will capture the activities at GLBC by photo and video, set up and run AV for chapel, and assist with other program needs.

Worship LEADER
For ages 15+
Responsible for leading musical worship for chapel sessions twice per day, and assisting with other program needs. Must be willing to Cabin Lead or help in another area as well.

First Aid Staff
For ages 18+
Care for the wellbeing of campers and staff through handling all injuries and sickness, providing first aid, and administering medication to campers and staff. Applicants must have a current First Aid/CPR/AED certification or be able to acquire one before summer.

Program Assistant
For ages 15+
Directly assist the Program Director, Day Camp Director, and Wilderness Director to implement successful camp programs. Duties include setting up and running games and activities, running the canteen (camp store), and assisting with other program needs.

Kitchen & Housekeeping crewFor ages 14+
Serve in a support role this summer! Duties include serving food, doing the dishes, cleaning up the dining hall, cleaning bathrooms & common areas, and assisting with other camp duties as assigned. Assistant CooksFor ages 18+
Assistant Cooks work with the Head Cook to ensure that all campers and staff are well fed. Duties include food prep, cooking, baking, serving, and cleaning. Assistant Cooks will also help to mentor and train Kitchen Crew staff. Applicants with cooking experience or who hold a current ServSafe certification are preferred. |
Head Staff work with the Executive Director to lead the summer staff team and run all areas of camp. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

This includes, but is not limited to, implementing the weekly schedules, planning and leading games and activities, overseeing the Canteen (camp store), and supervising, training, and mentoring Program and Cabin staff. Must have demonstrated leadership skills and prior camp experience.
Day Camp DIRECTOR
Plan and lead all aspects of GLBC's Day Camp program. This includes creating and implementing the daily schedule, planning and leading games and activities, developing Bible-based curriculum and speaking for Day Camp chapels, and supervising, training, and mentoring Day Camp staff. Must have demonstrated leadership skills and prior camp experience.
Wilderness DIRECTOR
Plan and lead all aspects of GLBC's Wilderness Camp program. This includes implementing the weekly schedule, planning and leading activities such as canoeing, fishing, fire-building, and tent-camping, and supervising, training, and mentoring Wilderness Camp staff. Must have demonstrated leadership skills and prior camp and wilderness experience.
Head cook
Lead and manage all aspects of the camp kitchen to ensure that all campers and staff are well fed. Duties include ordering food, planning menus, food prep, cooking, baking, serving, cleaning, and supervising, training, and mentoring all Kitchen Staff. Must have experience working in a large kitchen setting and must hold a current ServSafe certification or be able to aquire one before summer.
Camp Manager
Ministry Partner
Each summer, GLBC hires one male and one female Ministry Partner to serve and disciple the Summer Staff. Ministry Partners lead daily staff devotions and weekly meet one-on-one with each staff member of the same gender to encourage and support them in their summer role and in their walk with God. They handle staff issues alongside the Executive Director and the rest of the Head Staff. Ministry Partners must also be willing to help in any program area as needed.
Chapel SpeakerEach week, we hire a chapel speaker to share engaging, biblical messages with campers during our two chapel sessions daily. Speakers will be provided with an outline based on the summer theme and are responsible to develop age-appropriate messages that teach campers the Gospel and invite them to respond. During non-chapel times, speakers are welcome and encouraged to join in on camp activities, getting to know campers and staff, and investing in them on a personal level.
Speakers are welcome to bring their families and will be housed in our newest cabin which includes a living area, bathroom, bedroom with a full-sized bed, loft with twin beds, a mini-fridge and microwave. |
Missionary Speaker
Once per week is "Missions Chapel" where we invite a missionary speaker to teach the campers about cross-cultural missions, share about what God is doing through their particular missionary assignment, and invite campers to consider how God may be calling them to partner in His work around the world. Campers will have the opportunity to donate to the missionary from their Canteen account throughout the week.
