Family Camp
Meet Our 2024 Family Camp SpeakerDan Brendsel was raised in central Minnesota, and, after being away for over twenty years, was called to return to this great state to take up the pastoral calling at First Presbyterian Church in the summer of 2021. In between, Dan lived for extended seasons in Colorado, Illinois, the Twin Cities (where he met and married his wife Jen), Massachusetts, and again in Illinois (where he served for a decade as an associate pastor). He has degrees and certificates from the Moody Bible Institute, the Bethlehem Institute, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Wheaton College. On the side, he has authored books and articles, spoken at conferences, taught undergraduate and graduate courses in New Testament, and tried to play in as many softball leagues as possible. He was licensed in the Chicago Metro Presbytery of the PCA in November 2020, and was licensed and ordained in the Siouxlands Presbytery of the PCA in April 2021. He and his wife Jen have four children.

Kids Program |
Fun in the Sun |
There are many different chapel sessions to attend where the focus is on the family, parenting, and how God fits into the family. With songs of worship and a solid message, these chapel sessions become instant favorites.
|
The kids program is an alternative to the chapel sessions. These are bible game sessions and a chance for you kid to have fun, meet the other children, and learn about different Bible Stories.
|
Fun in the sun includes anything you would like to do. Our waterfront will be open, as well as canoeing and kayaking. Bring the water wings and sunscreen because you won't want to miss cooling off in Grindstone Lake.
